With a proven track record as a real estate and business lawyer, David represents both landlords and tenants and defendants in real estate litigation matters and continually provides consulting services for various lenders, brokers, private equity firms and borrowers in Quebec.
Since 2005, Me. Ghavitian has focused his career in two complementary areas of law:
(1) commercial and residential real estate development, acquisition and financing; and
(2) business development, management, acquisitions, and collections.
David has also served as general counsel for numerous corporations, including but not limited to brokerage firms, developers, and businesses throughout the province. He also specializes in litigation of fraud, breach of contract, negligence, and construction matters.

Acted as in-house counsel for a prominent real estate group with a portfolio of hotels, industrial, commercial, office and retail space with a gross leasable area of 16,000,000,00 square feet.
Acted on behalf of a real estate developer in connection with the purchase and financing of a
commercial property financed by First National Financial Group in the amount of $3,575,500.00
Represents a prominent office tower landlord in Downtown Montreal in the drafting and negotiation of all leasing agreements representing at least 3,000,0000 square feet of gross leasable area and with a turnaround of not more than 24 hours.
Successfully represented a real estate developer in a litigation concerning fraudulent representations as committed by the directors/shareholders of the vendor
Represented the vendors for the sale of an industrial building to a foreign real estate group in the amount of $1,800,000.
Acted on behalf of a land-owner in the sale of land to a major North American retailer in the amount of $7,600,000.00.
Acted on behalf of an international telecommunications company in the leasing of 39,000 square feet of office space in a downtown Montreal tower.
Represented the purchaser in the acquisition and subsequent leasing of 15 retail buildings in Montreal.
